Fish Masala

Ingredients

    Kg Fish cleaned and cut – With bones

    Tbsp Ginger Paste

  • 2

    Tbsp Garlic Paste

  • 1/4

    Tsp Mustard Seeds

  • 1

    Cup Cooking Oil

  • 6

    Tbsp Bayara Fish Masala

  • 4

    Pieces of Tamarind – Mixed in 4 cups of water

  • 2

    Stalks Curry Leaves

  • 4

    Whole Green chilies – Cut in small pieces

  • Bayara Salt – To taste

Fish Masala

  1. Heat oil and mix together the mustard seeds, ginger paste, garlic paste, green chilies and curry leaves.
  2. Add Bayara Fish Masala and stir well.
  3. Put the fish pieces into the mixture, along with tamarind water. Add more Tamarind if needed.
  4. Cook on a low flame until done. Add salt as needed
  5. Add coconut milk as needed for a thicker gravy
