Sheer Khurma

Ingredients

  • 100

    g Vermicelli – broken into pieces

  • 50

    g Bayara Almonds slivered

  • 50

    g Bayara Cashews

  • 50

    g Bayara Pistachios slivered

  • 50

    g Bayara Dates pitted - chopped

  • 1

    Tsp. Bayara Cardamom powder

  • 1/2

    Cup Ghee

  • 1

    L Full-cream milk

  • 100

    Condensed milk

Sheer Khurma

  • 1. In a pan, heat 1 ½ tbsp. of ghee. Add vermicelli and sauté until golden brown. Remove the vermicelli from the pan and keep aside.
  • 2. Using the same pan, add ½ tbsp. ghee and sauté almonds, cashews and pistachios. Remove and keep aside.
  • 3. In a saucepan, put full-cream milk and bring to a boil. Add fried vermicelli and dates and let it cook on low heat until vermicelli softens.
  • 4. Add condensed milk and cook for a few minutes. Check for sweetness, and add sugar if needed. Stir and take it off the heat.
  • 5.Garnish with fried nuts and cardamom powder, then serve..
